Tippers, dumpers, and trucks
Tipper and dumper billing software
Tipper billing software for trip work, which is not the same as an hourly JCB bill. Dumper billing uses trip, cubic metre, or from-and-to location lines when that is how the carting agreement is written.
Trip and measurement lines
Machine invoice units include trip, cubic metre, and location, as well as hour, day, and month when a vehicle is on hire instead of per trip.
Vehicle on the bill
Each tipper or dumper is a machine record, so the invoice names the vehicle instead of a blank description.
Transit mixers on trip contracts
A transit mixer billed per trip uses the same trip line. If the contract is a day rate, use a day line. There is no separate mixer product.
Illustrative trip bill
A dumper makes eight trips in a day. The invoice line quantity is 8 and the unit is trip, at the agreed rate, for that vehicle and client. This describes the billing unit in the product, not a real job.
Questions
- Can I bill by trip and also by day?
- Yes. Trip, day, hour, month, cubic metre, location, and fixed amount are machine-invoice units. Use the unit that matches the agreement.
- Is truck rental a different app?
- No. Trucks you hire out are machines in the same fleet billing workflow.
